A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Social Worker to provide critical support to K-12 students within a school setting. This position is designed for a compassionate professional who is ready to make a meaningful difference during a leave coverage contract in Stamford, CT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student well-being and academic success.
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed.
  • Link students and families to community resources and support services.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Social Work (Bachelors or Masters level) with relevant licensure or certification.
  • Experience working within K-12 educational settings.
  • Strong knowledge of child and adolescent development and behavior management.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse student populations and school personnel.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to support students during a temporary leave period.
