Position Overview
We’re seeking a Part-Time Morning Camp Counselor (6:30 AM Start) to help oversee Camper arrivals, morning playgroups, and daily operations.
This role is ideal for dependable early risers — including retirees, adults seeking part-time work, or individuals looking for steady, structured hours in a positive environment.
Responsibilities
- Open and prepare the facility for daily operations
- Supervise structured group play and monitor dog behavior
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Assist with Camper check-in and parent communication
- Work collaboratively with leadership to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Must be reliable and punctual for a 6:30 AM start
- Ability to work at least one weekend day
- Comfortable being physically active for the duration of the shift
- Able to stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50+ lbs
- Able to see, read and hear dog body language and cues
- Strong communication and situational awareness skills
- Must love dogs and be comfortable with all breeds and sizes
- Prior work experience strongly valued
- Minimum age: 16
