Early Morning Dog Daycare Counselor - 6:30am (Part-Time)

Position Overview

We’re seeking a Part-Time Morning Camp Counselor (6:30 AM Start) to help oversee Camper arrivals, morning playgroups, and daily operations.

This role is ideal for dependable early risers — including retirees, adults seeking part-time work, or individuals looking for steady, structured hours in a positive environment.

Responsibilities

• Open and prepare the facility for daily operations
• Supervise structured group play and monitor dog behavior
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Assist with Camper check-in and parent communication
• Work collaboratively with leadership to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Must be reliable and punctual for a 6:30 AM start
• Ability to work at least one weekend day
  
• Comfortable being physically active for the duration of the shift
  
• Able to stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50+ lbs
  
• Able to see, read and hear dog body language and cues
• Strong communication and situational awareness skills
• Must love dogs and be comfortable with all breeds and sizes
• Prior work experience strongly valued
• Minimum age: 16
