Autism-Experienced Nanny / RBT Preferred – Immediate Need (Anne Arundel County, MD)

Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced nanny specializing in children with autism to support a wonderful family in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. This position involves caring for two children, ages 9 and 10, with one child on the autism spectrum.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience supporting neurodivergent children, can provide structured and nurturing care, and is comfortable assisting with school-related responsibilities. RBT certification is strongly preferred, though candidates with extensive autism experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing patient, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care
• Supporting routines, transitions, and emotional regulation
• Implementing behavior strategies as guided by the family or therapy team
• Picking up children from school as needed
• Assisting with homework and academic support
• Engaging children in safe, structured, and meaningful activities
• Communicating clearly with parents regarding daily progress

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working with children with autism (required)
• RBT certification preferred
• Calm, nurturing, and structured approach to care
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to commit to a consistent weekday schedule
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
