Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify each child's unique needs and strengths.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans grounded in ABA principles to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to track progress and inform treatment adjustments, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to provide training, support, and guidance on behavioral strategies.
- Perform patient intake procedures, including initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to tailor interventions effectively.
- Maintain accurate medical records, documentation of patient care activities, and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health, special education, and medical terminology.
Skills
- Proven experience in behavioral therapy techniques applied to children with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong working knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), data collection methods, and behavior intervention strategies.
- Excellent skills in patient assessment, medical documentation, and understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health.
- Ability to work compassionately with children and their families while maintaining professionalism and patience.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations concerning patient privacy and medical records management.
- Effective communication skills for training families, collaborating with team members, and presenting complex information clearly.
