Job Description:

  • Maintain a caseload of 8 children in the adolescent IDT program, 6th – 12th grade.
  • Participate in IDT admissions with the child, family, MD, and school liaison.
  • Provide Weekly Individual Therapy.
  • Provide Daily Group Therapy.
  • Provide Family Therapy and Crisis Intervention as needed.
  • Facilitate Transition Meetings for each student on their caseload that include the student and family, IDT teacher, school liaison, and other professionals from the student’s home district.
  • Collateral involvement with participating schools and agencies.
  • Function as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
  • Participate in weekly Treatment Team meetings.
  • Advocate for youth and families to obtain community-based linkages with additional supportive services that meet their needs.
  • Maintain timely medical record documentation.
  • Facilitate thorough discharge planning and complete discharge follow-up.
  • Collaborate with school liaisons throughout Orange County to facilitate the referral and screening process.
