Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children and those on the autism spectrum. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®) is a graduate-level certification in behavior analysis. Professionals certified at the BCBA level are independent practitioners who provide behavior-analytic services.
BCBAs may supervise the work of Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts® (BCaBAs®), Registered Behavior Technicians® (RBTs®), and other professionals who implement behavior-analytic interventions.
Duties
- Conduct descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments and functional analyses
- Design and implement function driven behavior plans and supervise behavior analytic interventions
- Develop and implement appropriate assessment and intervention methods
- Use VBMAPP, ABBLS, Vineland, AFLS etc
- Teach others to carry out ethical and effective behavior analytic interventions based on published research and design and deliver instruction in behavior analysis.
- Provide on-going training to caregivers.
- On-going monitoring and evaluation of all behavioral objectives including Data analysis and graphing.
- Provide on-going supervisions to Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Must be certified by BACB as Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Master’s Degree in related fields
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, parents, school and medical personnel and the community-at-large.
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive communications.
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
- Must be fluent in English, bilingual preferred.
- Must have a reliable transportation
- Access to a smart phone and computer
- Proof of auto insurance liability coverage
- Active Medicaid provider ID (optional)
- Ability to drive to multiple locations daily
- Ability to occasionally lift 25 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to maintain a clean criminal background and clean driver license.
- Ability to use technology (computer, scanner, tablet, phone)
