Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing effective and ethical counseling services. We would like the hired candidate to dedicate two full days (morning & afternoon shifts) in the office during the weekdays (Mon-Fri).

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

2. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal and ethical standards.

4. Collaborate with other members of the therapy team to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.

5. Stay informed about current best practices and emerging trends in the field of mental health counseling.

6. Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance professional development.

7. Foster a positive and therapeutic relationship with clients, promoting a safe and supportive environment for their growth and healing.

Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in a clinical counseling field and eligible for licensure.

2. Must be registered in Florida in a clinical counseling field and have an active qualified supervisor.

3. Strong knowledge of trauma, chronic mental illness, child development, and willingness to learn new modalities of treatment.

4. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

5. Adherence to ethical guidelines and legal standards in the provision of mental health services.

6. Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.

7. Previous experience or training in evidence-based therapeutic modalities is a plus.
