Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Assistant Program Director with a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) or licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) credential to join our dedicated behavioral health team. In this vital leadership role, you will support the development, implementation, and oversight of innovative programs designed to enhance the well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities. You will collaborate closely with staff, clients, and community partners to ensure high-quality services are delivered efficiently and effectively. Duties

  • Assist in managing daily program operations, ensuring compliance with licensing and organizational standards
  • Support program development initiatives to expand services tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Supervise clinical staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, community agencies, and stakeholders
  • Oversee administrative functions including documentation, billing, and record-keeping to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Assist in budgeting processes and resource allocation to maximize program effectiveness
  • Lead staff training sessions on behavioral health best practices and person-centered approaches
  • Monitor client progress and outcomes, adjusting interventions as needed for optimal results

Requirements

  • Current licensure as an LCSW or LMHC with relevant state certification or licensing authority
  • Proven management experience within behavioral health or social service settings
  • Demonstrated ability in program development and implementation for individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Strong relationship management skills to foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders
  • Experience supervising clinical staff and managing team performance
  • Excellent organizational skills with a focus on administrative accuracy and efficiency
  • Knowledge of behavioral health practices, social work principles, and community resources
  • Ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high-quality service delivery
