Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral therapy services to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) using applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques.
  • Collect and record data meticulously on client progress, behaviors, and skill acquisition to inform ongoing treatment adjustments.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care tasks, fostering independence.
  • Support teaching sessions focused on communication, social skills, academic skills, and behavioral management strategies tailored to each individual’s needs.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding client confidentiality and handling medical documentation accurately.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and update care plans that reflect client progress and changing needs.
  • Foster a positive, motivating environment that encourages clients’ growth while adhering to ethical standards and best practices in behavioral health.

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
  • Knowledge of behavioral therapy principles, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management techniques is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation practices related to patient care is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations in educational or healthcare settings is beneficial.
