Position Overview:
The Medical Director will oversee the day-to-day medical operations of our organization. This role includes conducting assessments and evaluations, managing medications, coordinating treatment plans, performing chart reviews, monitoring program outcomes, and contributing to program development. The Medical Director will also provide clinical supervision, training, and education to the treatment team while maintaining high standards for diagnosis, treatment, and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Leadership: Oversee the clinical operations of the OMHC and establish standards for diagnosis, treatment, and prescribing practices.
- Medical Quality Management: Ensure the medical aspects of quality management meet organizational and regulatory standards.
- Client Care: Conduct psychiatric evaluations, prescribe medications, and design individualized care plans using a variety of therapeutic modalities.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with psychotherapists and other professionals to develop and monitor treatment plans and progress.
- Supervision and Training: Coordinate and provide clinical supervision, training, and education for staff on psychopharmacology, assessment, and diagnosis.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and timely documentation, reinforce service standards, and assist with compliance and clinical concerns.
- Program Development: Contribute to hiring and onboarding psychiatry staff and support their professional growth.
- Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as required to support the organization's mission and goals.
Employee Status: This is a W2 position
Schedule:
This is a 20-hour-per-week hybrid position. 1-2x days per week must be worked onsite at our office located in Owings Mills, MD.

Qualifications: Must have CRNP-PMH license
- Education and Licensure: Must be a licensed Physician or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the State of Maryland. Must have CRNP-PMH license
- Certification: Possess CDS/DEA licenses.
- Experience: Clinical and private practice experience is preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in diagnosing and treating psychiatric and mental health conditions.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Competence in using technology and software to manage medical responsibilities.
- Expertise in medical record documentation and addressing clinical or administrative concerns.
