This opportunity is for a dedicated social worker to support students and families within an elementary school setting. Located in Franklin Park, IL, this contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the current school year (CSY). The role requires a compassionate professional skilled in school social work, adept at addressing students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs in collaboration with educators and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct social work services to elementary students, including counseling, crisis intervention, and case management
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement support plans
  • Assess student needs and connect families with community resources
  • Facilitate group sessions and school-wide initiatives focused on mental health and well-being
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and confidentiality standards
