This contract position spans the full school year and provides the chance to make a meaningful impact on young students' lives by addressing their social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement intervention plans.
• Provide counseling and support services to students to promote positive development.
• Facilitate group sessions focused on social skills, coping strategies, and conflict resolution.
• Connect families with community resources and support services as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with relevant school policies and regulations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs).

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Valid license or certification to practice social work in the state.
• Experience working within school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff.
