A social worker is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Arlington Heights, IL. This full academic year contract role focuses on providing critical social services to enhance student well-being and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of student social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Provide individual and group counseling to students facing personal or family challenges
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create supportive intervention plans
• Connect students and families with community resources and support services
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success planning
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation following confidentiality guidelines

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
• Licensed Social Worker (LSW or LCSW) preferred or ability to obtain license
• Experience working in K-12 school environments or with youth populations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to manage caseloads independently while maintaining positive relationships
