Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a School Psychologist to provide support for students in grades K-5 at an onsite K-12 school location in Maywood, Illinois. The position offers a full school year contract with a 35-hour workweek, focusing on serving multiple caseloads within the elementary grades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement intervention plans.
- Provide counseling and support services to students.
- Assist in creating individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist License.
- Professional Educator License (PEL).
- Experience working with K-5 student populations preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills.
