A K-12 educational institution in Elgin, IL is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services throughout the school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic educational setting, supporting students academic and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for K-12 students to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with educators, parents, and support staff.
  • Consult with teachers and administrators to design strategies that promote positive student outcomes.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review and discuss student progress.
  • Maintain detailed records and prepare psychological reports in compliance with district and state guidelines.
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling support as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Illinois School Psychologist license or certification.
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and interpretation.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with school personnel, families, and external agencies.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
