Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


A school psychologist is needed to support elementary students in grades K-5 at a contract position in Arlington Heights, IL. This role involves managing an elementary caseload within a building of approximately 450 students. Evaluations typically range from 30-40 annually, with this position expected to handle fewer than that number. The psychologist will be actively involved in conducting initial and reevaluation assessments as well as participating in the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial psychological evaluations and reevaluations for eligible students
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff in the MTSS framework
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers, parents, and administrators
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies based on assessment data
  • Monitor student progress and adjust supports as needed

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Certification or licensure as a school psychologist
  • Experience working with elementary aged students (K-5)
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment and evaluation procedures
  • Familiarity with MTSS and response to intervention models
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and meet deadlines

Schedule & Location:

  • Full school year contract position
  • Work hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Elementary school setting in Arlington Heights, Illinois
