Under the immediate supervision of a supervisor or Unit Director performs assigned therapy and skills training servicesEXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:             Interviews clients, their relatives, and other interested individuals and agencies to obtain social and developmental histories to discover social/psychological problems.Performs therapeutic treatment with clients or relatives of clients, under supervision of the Unit Director or Supervisor in consultation with a psychiatrist or other physician.Participates as a team member in conferences designed for the diagnosis and treatment of clients.Participates in the interpretation of methods and procedures to agencies responsible for carrying out recommendations of the clinic.May supervise volunteers and student/interns.Acts as liaison between all appropriate agencies, Clifton ISD, physicians, relatives of clients and community resources for purposes of admission, treatment, and discharge planning.Increases knowledge of Psychotherapeutic, Skill streaming, and social work concepts by attendance at work related outside conferences and seminars whenever possible.May participate in budget planning, unit administration, and program development.Performs related work as required.Education and Experience       Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited school.Licensure candidate (LPC- Associate, LMSW, etc)One year case management preferred.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Considerable knowledge of the principles, methods, techniques and practices of therapy and social work, the functioning of social service or treatment facility of community resources and how to use them effectively.Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.  Must have and maintain a level of general health which permits the performance of job duties.Must be able to transport clients and travel Locally 5% Regionally 30%Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.Must have excellent verbal/written communication.Must have excellent time management and organizational skills.Must have ability to do clinical documentation in an accurate and timely manner and be familiar with computer operationMust physical ability to perform CPR and PMAB skills.  Position: 630Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pmSalary: $48,150-$52,965 (Depending on experience).Benefits: Heart of Texas Behavioral Health Network strives to offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Employer paid Health Insurance, no copays, no deductibles, 0 cost most prescriptions* Employer paid Dental Insurance Employer paid Life Insurance Employer Paid Short Term Disability Employer Paid Employee Assistance Program Payroll Direct Deposit 12 paid Holidays per yearExcellent 401-K Retirement Plan (Center will contribute 12% of employee earnings)**               **Certain Requirements Apply**Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) - begins after 3 months of full time employment
