OVERVIEW: The Intake Coordinator oversees the intake process, ensuring that all referrals are assessed and clients are effectively connected to appropriate services. In addition to scheduling new intakes, the Intake Coordinator is responsible for administrative tasks, ensuring appropriate documentation and tracking of all cases in the intake process.

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all daily intake tasks, including: referrals in progress, tracking of referral calls, and tracking of case assignment; ensure that cases are assigned promptly and that caseload vacancies are quickly filled.
  • Assign cases and build schedules for new clinicians
  • Oversee assignment of all cases in need of transfer
  • Participates in weekly Intake Meeting with Directors; provide weekly reports regarding referrals and intakes in process
  • Identify trends in referrals and utilization of services. Communicates with Directors and Supervisors to share information.
  • Other administrative responsibilities as assigned
  • Precise and careful tracking of cases in the intake process

REQUIREMENTS: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to multi-task and oversee multiple processes. Must have strong skills in engagement and assessment. Proficiency in basic and intermediate computer skills is required. Prior experience in community mental health is a plus. Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
