Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Active Florida Psychologist licensure through the Department of Health.
- Experience or strong interest in school-based psychological assessment, consultation, and counseling.
- Must complete required background screening; fingerprints may be transferable if currently on file with the Department of Health.
- Previous work within diverse school environments preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret findings to inform educational planning.
- Set up and participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Deliver individual and group counseling to address various social-emotional and behavioral needs.
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to create supportive learning environments.
- Maintain timely records and ensure compliance with legal and district requirements.
