Why Join the Tampa Therapy Team?

For over ten years, we have consistently been ranked as the #1 practice in Tampa. Joining our team means becoming part of a respected, trusted, and sought-after group of clinicians in the Tampa Bay area—professionals known for delivering exceptional care.

We are unlike any other private practice in the region. As one of the first group practices in Tampa, we have a proven history of success, a steady stream of organic referrals, and a deliberately small team. This intentional approach allows us to prioritize quality over quantity in every aspect of our work.

At Tampa Therapy, we handle all the business and administrative responsibilities so you can focus entirely on your clients. Your role is to provide outstanding therapy—everything else is taken care of.

To protect both client care and your own well-being, we limit caseloads to no more than 24 clients per week. Many other practices in the area expect therapists to see 30–40 clients weekly; we know from experience and from the clinicians we interview that this is not sustainable. Our structure ensures you are highly compensated while maintaining a balanced schedule.

We value our clinicians. Simply put, you can earn a full-time income while working part-time hours.

Our clients are engaged, self-motivated, and have chosen to participate in therapy—making for deeply rewarding clinical work.

We are a small, privately owned practice, led by a licensed psychologist who is actively involved in daily operations. This means all clinical and business decisions are made by someone who understands the realities of sitting across from a client. You will work closely with ownership and have a direct influence on practice policies, benefiting from a genuine small-business environment where you’re part of a professional family.

Our team members report high satisfaction with their clients, the work environment, and the close, collaborative relationships they share with one another and with leadership.

We operate in a highly organized manner—whether it’s scheduling, billing, or office management—allowing you to focus on providing therapy without administrative distractions.

You will work in a clean, upscale, and thoughtfully designed environment that supports both your workday and the therapy process.

These are not empty claims; they are the principles our practice is built on. We believe a healthy, supportive workplace starts at the top, and Tampa Therapy was intentionally created to give clinicians the opportunity to use their expertise while being part of a highly skilled, close-knit team that helps clients heal and grow. When the culture is strong, the clients are engaged, and the space is warm and welcoming, it doesn’t feel like “work.” Instead, it feels like being part of something truly meaningful.
