Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Qualifications
- Core skills in behavioral therapy, patient care, and medical documentation
- Premium skills in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and cognitive behavioral therapy
- Experience in outpatient mental health counseling as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
- Ability to provide patient assessment and care following HIPAA guidelines

We are looking for an outpatient mental health counselor with experience working with adults. We accept private insurance and private pay but do not participate in Soonercare. Most of our clients are adults with a few teenagers. We offer both in person and telehealth options with some counselors dedicating specific days per week to working from home.

We pay our counselors as employees as opposed to 1099 contract workers. This incurs more employment costs but provides several advantages such as simplified taxation, unemployment insurance, workers compensation insurance, group health and life insurance, as well as a 401k with matching.

We use a convenient and comprehensive electronic health record, keeping paperwork to a minimum. We offer peer support as well as competent office staff to handle billing and collection challenges.

An ideal candidate would be fully licensed with some type of identified niche and training or a willingness to pursue training. They must be open-minded, affirming, and accepting of our diverse client base. If you're not already credentialed with insurance panels, we can start that process for you.

Job Type: Commission

Pay: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
