Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care skills
- Collect accurate data on client behaviors and progress to inform treatment plans and ensure consistency in intervention strategies
- Support teaching and skill development through structured sessions tailored to each individual’s needs
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with team members to develop and adjust individualized treatment goals for clients with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Foster a safe, positive environment that promotes patience, understanding, and respect for clients’ unique needs
Skills
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis techniques
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities in educational or clinical settings
- Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior management strategies effectively
- Excellent data collection skills to track client progress accurately
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards
- Effective teaching skills to support skill acquisition and behavior change goals
- Compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating patience and adaptability in diverse situations
