We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing team.
Position Summary:
As an RBT at Steady Steps ABA, you will work directly with children under the supervision of a BCBA to implement behavior intervention plans. You’ll play a key role in helping clients achieve social, behavioral, and communication goals through consistent, high-quality therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, at school, or in a clinical setting
- Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs developed by the BCBA
- Accurately collect and record session data and progress notes
- Communicate regularly with supervising BCBAs regarding client progress and concerns
- Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with BACB guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing supervision
Qualifications:
- Active RBT certification from the BACB (or willingness to obtain before start)
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with special needs a plus
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to client locations as needed
- Strong communication, patience, and a passion for helping others
