Responsibilities of a Behavior Technician (BT):
Behavior Technicians provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism
Behavior Technicians accurately collect and document behavioral data
Behavior Technicians follow behavior intervention plans created by BCBAs
Behavior Technicians support daily living skills (ADLs) and promote independence
Behavior Technicians safely manage and respond to challenging behaviors
Compensation & Schedule for Behavior Technician (BT):
Behavior Technician hourly pay: $18–$23 (based on experience and certification)
Full-time Behavior Technician position: 40 hours per week
Flexible Behavior Technician schedule between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM
Qualifications for Behavior Technician (BT):
No experience required to become a Behavior Technician (BT)
Willingness to complete paid training and obtain RBT certification
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Passion for working with children
Strong communication and teamwork skills for Behavior Technicians
