We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Mental Health Counselor to join our team and provide high-quality outpatient behavioral health services to individuals with substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health disorders. In this role, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual and group counseling using evidence-based practices. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support clients in achieving their goals and improving their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and inform treatment planning.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs, diagnosis, and evidence-based practices.
- Provide individual and group therapy using modalities such as CBT, solution-focused therapy, and person-centered approaches.
- Facilitate psychoeducation and skills-building to support clients in managing symptoms and improving daily functioning.
- Monitor client progress and update treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency, state, and HIPAA requirements.
- Collaborate with clinicians and community providers to ensure coordinated care.
- Utilize telehealth platforms when appropriate.
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
- Current and valid Ohio license, LPC or LSW.
- Experience providing individual and group therapy.
- Knowledge of DSM-5-TR and evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
