Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional to join our dynamic behavioral health team. Duties
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify mental health conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis tailored to each client’s needs.
- Provide direct support through individual and group counseling sessions focused on areas such as grief, addiction, PTSD care, gender issues counseling, and working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety during acute episodes.
- Document all patient interactions meticulously in compliance with HIPAA regulations, maintaining accurate medical records and notes using appropriate medical terminology.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, case managers, medical professionals, and educators to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
- Engage in clinical research activities or data collection efforts aimed at improving behavioral health outcomes and advancing best practices within the field.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related mental health discipline from an accredited program.
- Valid licensure or certification as a Mental Health Professional (e.g., Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)).
- Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques such as motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, psychopharmacology support, and crisis management.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations including children, geriatrics, individuals with autism or disabilities, and those experiencing trauma or chronic pain.
- Experience with telehealth platforms and electronic medical records systems is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and familiarity with medical terminology is essential.
- Strong communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient care; ability to handle sensitive situations professionally. Pay: From $58,340.00 per year
