Hearing Doctors is hiring! We are a growing audiology practice serving Northern Virginia and Maryland. We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our Mc Lean, VA office full time and Alexandria, VA 22302 location once a week . The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a front office medical setting managing administrative duties and will provide high-caliber customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as an initial point of contact for individuals seeking hearing care, services, and management.
- Gather patient information and coordinate the scheduling of services for patients, including patient appointments and answering phones/patient inquiries, all with an emphasis on excellent customer service.
- Track and report daily scheduling metrics.
- Efficiently book appointments and update patient information using Counsel Ear.
- Handle insurance verification, maintain databases, and other administrative duties as assigned.
- Maintain a clean working environment, while following all Hearing Doctors Health Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and follow HIPPA regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school Degree required.
- Experience: 3 + years of scheduling experience working as an office assistant, office coordinator, or patient care coordinator.
- Computer knowledge is required, including Microsoft Office products, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
