Northeast Delta Human Services Authority is seeking a Social Worker 4 to lead the development and implementation of advanced, individualized case management and treatment plans. Minimum Qualifications

Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) plus:

A master's degree in social work followed by three years of social services experience.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

  • Works with a treatment team to provide quality care and reduce the stigma surrounding behavioral health (mental health and substance use) treatment. To do this, the selected individual must utilize available community resources and/or referrals to a care manager and provide psychiatric assistance to consumers who have a behavioral health diagnosis.
  • Provides ongoing therapy, including crisis intervention, to individuals and families in one-on-one and/or group treatment.
  • Plans, prioritizes, and manages clinical treatment services for complex behavioral health cases. This includes completion of initial biopsychosocial assessments, annual reassessments, ASIs, and all assigned screening tools in accordance with NEDHSA policy.
  • Develops and implements treatment plans for consumers receiving services related to a behavioral health diagnosis, in accordance with LDH guidelines.
  • Attends in-service trainings for staff and completes required trainings promptly and assists with the collection of data for the TOMS and QOC surveys, as assigned.

Position-Specific Details:

Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, Demotion, Lateral Transfer, or Detail to Special Duty Location: Monroe Integrated Care Clinic

Compensation: NEDHSA is a designated approved National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site. Clinicians who work at NHSC-approved sites are eligible to apply to the NHSC Loan Repayment Program to pay off student loans.

  • 2-year Full-Time Clinical Practice: NHSC will pay up to $50,000* for an initial 2 years of full-time clinical practice to clinicians.

(Full-time clinical practice is defined as no less than 40 hours per week, for a minimum of 45 weeks per year.)
