Northwestern Medicine is actively seeking a BE/BC Psychiatric Hospitalist to join our team in Palos Heights, IL, located in the south suburbs of Chicago. This position is a hospital-based position that will provide inpatient care in the Psychiatric Unit. The position will perform Inpatient and Emergency Department Psychiatric Consultations. The ideal candidate will assess patients and complete psychiatric evaluations within 24 hours of inpatient admission including timely documentation and collaborative care with the treatment team. The Psychiatric Hospitalist will work in conjunction with other psychiatrists in group practice and provide back-up and weekend coverage.
