Northwestern Medicine is actively seeking a BE/BC Psychiatric Hospitalist to join our team in Palos Heights, IL, located in the south suburbs of Chicago. This position is a hospital-based position that will provide inpatient care in the Psychiatric Unit. The position will perform Inpatient and Emergency Department Psychiatric Consultations. The ideal candidate will assess patients and complete psychiatric evaluations within 24 hours of inpatient admission including timely documentation and collaborative care with the treatment team. The Psychiatric Hospitalist will work in conjunction with other psychiatrists in group practice and provide back-up and weekend coverage. Schedule: 7 days on and 7 days off (Monday thru Sunday) Discharge planning support from highly skilled social workers with robust PHP/IOP and TMS programs A physician led medical group that promotes physician leadership, wellness, and work-life balance Outstanding benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401K, and CME fund Competitive compensation Hospital privileges at Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital EPIC electronic health record system Salary range: $260,000 - $340,000 Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital is located just 20 miles from downtown Chicago and proudly serves the southwest suburbs of Chicago near Orland Park.
