This full-time social work opportunity in Elgin, IL offers a focused caseload working with 3rd and 4th grade students in a school setting. This contract-to-hire position spans from January 27 through March 10 and provides the chance to collaborate alongside other experienced social workers onsite, offering valuable peer support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver social work services tailored to the needs of elementary-aged students.
  • Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans addressing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and other professionals to support student well-being.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district policies.
  • Participate in regular supervision and professional development activities.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Social Service Worker (SSW) license.
  • Experience working in schools, specifically with elementary students.
  • Ability to manage a caseload while supporting educational and social goals.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Comfortable participating in Zoom interviews as part of the selection process.
