Experteer Overview In this role you support veterans and families through readjustment counseling within a small multidisciplinary Vet Center team. You will establish therapeutic relationships, conduct risk assessments, and develop individualized care plans. You’ll deliver counseling across individual, group, couple, and family formats, coordinate with internal and community partners, and contribute to outreach and crisis intervention efforts. The position emphasizes coordinated care, professional ethics, and continuity of services to optimize veterans’ readjustment. Compensation / Benefits • Screening and assessment to establish risk and set the counseling focus • Develop and update individualized counseling service plans with measurable outcomes • Direct counseling in various formats (individual, group, couples, family) • Risk assessment and crisis intervention with safety planning • Care coordination with VA and community partners to ensure full service spectrum • Outreach coordination with Vet Center staff to facilitate referrals • Documentation of clinical interactions and care coordination; provide consultation to staff and partners • Team participation for meetings, coaching, and staff development Tasks • Citizenship: U.S. citizen • Education: master's or doctoral degree in CACREP-accredited Clinical Mental Health Counseling or related field • Licensure: full, current license to independently practice as an LPMHC • English proficiency: proficient in spoken and written English • Background/security investigation • Onboarding process completion • Transcript submission required for education verification Key requirements •
