Lake Park High School is currently hiring for the full-time position of School Counselor - 1.0 FTE:

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in School Counseling
- Professional Educator License with School Counselor endorsement
- Experience as a classroom teacher or guidance counselor preferred
- Knowledge of basic counseling, leadership, and management skills
- Proficient with PCs, tablets, and other mobile electronic devices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google apps, and cloud-based applications
- Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed
- Demonstrated aptitude as a self-starter who works with minimal supervision
- Effective interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish
- Effective human relations and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Strong orientation toward providing customer service
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work positively and productively with adults and high school-age students
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES: School Counselor
SALARY/RATE: Annual salary of $74,471 to $99,695, based on relevant experience and education per Appendix A of the Licensed Salary Schedule in the District 108 Negotiated Agreement.
