Now Hiring: Prime-Time/Afterschool Counselor (Part-Time) Pay: $9–$12/hourDo you love working with kids, bringing energy to every room, and making a difference after the school bell rings? Join our Afterschool team at the Y, where every afternoon is a chance to lead, laugh, and learn!What You'll Be Doing:
  • Running fun, enriching after-school activities kids actually look forward to
  • Ensuring a safe and supportive space for every child
  • Serving up snacks and smiles
  • Communicating with families and school staff like a pro
  • Jumping in to help keep the space tidy and ready for play
  • Being a positive role model and go-to grown-up for our awesome participants
What You Bring:
  • 18+ with a high school diploma or GED
  • A heart for kids and a head for responsibility
  • Strong communication skills and good judgment
  • CPR/First Aid certified or willing to get certified withing 45 days
  • Willingness to learn YMCA curriculum (we'll train you!)
  • Ability to lead 30+ minutes of active play, because we move!
  • Reliable transportation
