Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services, including individual and group counseling, psychotherapy, and diagnostic evaluations. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and coding practices to ensure compliance and effective service delivery. Duties
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address various mental health issues.
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and develop treatment plans.
- Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to facilitate client progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with HIPAA standards and coding requirements.
- Provide home community care services as needed, ensuring clients receive appropriate support in their environment.
- Engage in research to stay informed about best practices in social work and mental health treatment.
- Work with geriatric populations, addressing specific challenges related to aging and mental health.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and enhance client outcomes.
Experience
- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
- Valid LCSW license in the state of practice.
- Experience in individual and group counseling, particularly with diverse populations.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and coding practices is essential.
- Knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques is preferred.
- Previous experience working with geriatric clients or in home community care settings is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively.
