Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide comprehensive mental health and behavioral health services within a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in psychotherapy, case management, and clinical assessment, with experience working with diverse populations including children, adolescents, and adults. As an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, the LCSW will deliver patient-centered care through individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and community outreach, ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards including HIPAA. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding systems, to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis tailored to patient needs.
- Provide crisis intervention and crisis management for patients experiencing acute mental health episodes or behavioral crises.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to coordinate integrated care plans that include psychopharmacology and other medical treatments while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Engage in case management activities such as intake assessments, treatment planning, progress documentation within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, and data collection for clinical research purposes.
- Offer specialized counseling services including addiction counseling, PTSD care, Alzheimer’s care, working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities, and geriatrics.
- Facilitate community outreach programs focused on mental health education and support for diverse populations.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation using appropriate medical terminology and coding practices such as CPT coding for billing purposes.
Experience
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification with current licensure in the relevant state or jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in clinical counseling across various settings including hospitals, community clinics, or home-based care environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral health interventions.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and geriatrics populations.
- Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and data collection; experience with medical records management is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to mental health care and familiarity with ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems for diagnostic purposes.
- Background in crisis management and crisis intervention strategies within behavioral health or hospital settings.
- Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations related to mental health disorders including PTSD, addiction issues, or cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer’s disease.
