Forensic Psychology Associate - AMFT / LPCC / ACSW

This is a full time or part time role for a AMFT, APCC, ACSW with the professional goal of entering the forensic psychology field . EMDR training for new staff within 90 days.

About The Role

Provides therapeutic care for health care plan and forensic psychology clients. Associates receive robust supervision and training . Associates will also have the opportunity to work with clients covered by health insurance and private pay. Work is performed under general supervision and is guided by agency policies and procedures, quality assurance, diagnostic guidelines and professional practices and including ethical standards related to client interactions, state and federal regulations and guidelines.

Hybrid On Site 80% Remote 20%

Roles and Responsibilities

• Facilitate one to one and group therapy sessions
• Prepare weekly/monthly clinical notes including, treatment plans update when necessary.
• Make assessments of participants when indicated
• Integrate DSM diagnoses
• Develop individualized care plan (ICP) and monitor the administration of these plans
• Attend weekly group and 1-1 supervision
• Perform follow up quarterly reassessments
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members to ensure client outcomes; and the completion reports upon request
• Knowledge and competence with the DSM V

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree
• Active Associate License
• BBS Registration
• Ability to provide compassionate non-judgmental behavioral health services
• Individual and group counseling experience

Preferred:

• Experience with forensic treatment in group and 1-1 settings

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $39.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
