Requirements

Provide individual counseling and develop treatment/recovery plans.
Facilitate therapeutic interactions to enhance patient skill development.
Implement psychosocial interventions to manage urges and cognitive distortions.
Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
Maintain accurate and thorough case records.
Establish and maintain relationships with patient referral agencies.
Complete utilization reviews to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree a plus.
Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) in good standing.
Minimum of two years experience in a behavioral health/substance use disorder treatment program.
