Job Summary:
  • The Director of Programs and Evaluation will oversee the daily operations of the organization’s service programs, including supportive and transitional services.
  • This role includes providing clinical supervision to program staff and ensuring programs meet quality standards.
  • This is a full-time, permanent position based in Manhattan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise multiple program teams, including supportive services, transitional services, testing programs, and health education initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain program scopes, workplans, and performance benchmarks in collaboration with program staff and leadership.
  • Partner with executive management to track, report, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure client engagement and program participation goals are met through outreach, promotion, and staff training.
  • Monitor and continually improve the quality of clinical services, policies, and procedures.
  • Design, implement, and manage program evaluation activities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including scheduling, reporting, and analysis.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with referring agencies and service providers to support participant needs.
  • Standardize data collection, visualization, and reporting processes for program evaluation and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare program documentation, charts, and policies for audits and site visits.
  • Develop evaluation tools and methods, such as surveys, and ensure timely, accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Lead quality improvement projects and monitor program initiatives to maintain compliance with regulations and funder requirements.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of all client records.
  • Promote programming and engage in business development activities, including outreach events, written reports, and evaluations.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) required.
  • Seminar in Field Instruction (SIFI) certification preferred.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in substance use, HIV, or related programming.
  • Minimum of five years’ progressive supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Proficiency with electronic client record platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
