Registered Behavior Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will play a crucial role in providing high-quality behavioral therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges. This position involves working closely with clients, their families, and a team of professionals to implement effective behavior management strategies and support care plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.

Duties

• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies.
• Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes in accordance with established protocols.
• Provide direct support to clients during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to develop and adjust care plans as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development related to behavioral health and special education practices.
• Support clients in achieving their personal goals through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques.

Requirements

• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required.
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
• Experience in behavioral therapy or working within special education settings is preferred.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining medical records confidentiality.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to client behaviors effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
• Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to supporting individuals with behavioral health needs.
• Safety Care Trained Preferred.
