Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain thorough medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Provide support to children in various settings, including home, school, or community environments.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required.
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong data collection skills to monitor client progress effectively.
- Ability to educate clients and families on behavioral strategies in a clear and supportive manner.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
