Job Overview

Beacon Medical Group Behavioral Health and the University of Notre Dame are seeking BC/BE Psychiatrists to provide outpatient and inpatient Adult and Adolescent Psychiatric Services. In this collaborative position, you will help shape a new community initiative between the University of Notre Dame and Beacon Medical Group. Psychiatrists will work in the hospital setting of Beacon; while supporting the work and research at the University through the care of college students at the University of Notre Dame and the community at the Veldman Family Psychology Clinic. This partnership is designed to establish Notre Dame as a field-leader in mental health research and service delivery to multiple populations. The position will also be placed in the Veldman Family Psychology Clinic to support eager community members ready to make a positive change in their own lives and those of their families. The clinic will also serve as a training location for Notre Dame's Clinical Psychology doctoral program. Potential areas of focus for research could include college mental health, trauma informed care, substance use, suicide prevention, family violence, sports psychology, and maternal and child health.
