A leading K-12 educational institution in Newark, DE, is seeking a licensed School Psychologist for a contracted, full academic year (NSY) position. This role requires a skilled professional dedicated to supporting student mental health, academic achievement, and overall well-being within a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret evaluation data to identify student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student learning and behavioral success.
- Promote a positive school climate by contributing to mental health initiatives and preventive programs.
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
