A K-12 school is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services for students throughout the academic year. This contract position offers the opportunity to support the mental health and educational development of children in a dynamic school environment.
Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, interpreting results, and collaborating with educators and families to develop effective intervention plans. The role also involves providing counseling, crisis intervention, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to promote positive student outcomes. Key qualifications and experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
- Experience with psychological evaluations and educational assessments K-12
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and procedures
- Ability to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Crisis intervention and counseling experience
