Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity to provide critical psychological services in a high school environment, supporting students academic, social, and emotional development. The school psychologist will work collaboratively with educators, families, and other professionals to assess and address student needs, promote positive behavior, and facilitate interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify student strengths and needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment data
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student progress and behavioral strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed to support student well-being
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant legal and ethical standards
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Relevant state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with high school-aged students is preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Knowledge of special education laws and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
