A K-12 school in Lansdale, PA is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a contracted position throughout the school year. This role offers the opportunity to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and well-being
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student needs
- Offer guidance on behavioral management and crisis intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with special education laws and regulations
