A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support K-12 students within a dynamic educational setting in Chester, PA. This position offers a full school year contract, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on students academic, social, and emotional development.
Responsibilities include conducting psychological evaluations, providing counseling services, collaborating with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implementing intervention strategies to promote student success. The role requires a strong understanding of assessment tools and an ability to communicate findings effectively to multidisciplinary teams. You will also participate in team meetings and contribute to creating a positive and supportive school environment.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
- Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Strong counseling and consultative skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
- Familiarity with IDEA and other relevant state and federal regulations
