A contract opportunity is available for a certified School Psychologist specializing in teletherapy and one-on-one support at a high school in Vancouver, WA. This position is designed to provide leave coverage starting ASAP through December 19th, with a commitment of five days per week from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Key responsibilities include managing a manageable caseload of high school students, conducting tri-annual evaluations, and providing direct therapy services as needed. The role also involves case managing 504 plans, ensuring compliance and appropriate accommodations for students. A hybrid work schedule is negotiable to balance onsite and remote duties effectively.
Qualifications and preferred experience include:
- OSPI certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience with teletherapy interventions and 1:1 student support
- Familiarity with high school student needs and special education assessments
- Ability to perform comprehensive special education evaluations and develop recommendations
- Competence in managing 504 plans and collaborating with educational teams
