This locum tenens opportunity is for a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist in Connecticut and surrounding areas, with coverage from 10/01/2025 to 04/01/2026. The position offers a full-time day shift schedule (Monday-Friday) with inpatient call requirements. The clinician will treat a patient population including children with conditions such as eating disorders, suicide risk, and gender dysphoria, managing an average caseload of 10-12 patients per day. Support staff will be available on-site, and prescriptive authority is required. The average length of stay is 14 days, with a census of 11 patients. This role is ideal for a board-certified (or negotiable) psychiatrist seeking flexible, full-time inpatient work in a centrally located Connecticut facility.
