We are a growing music therapy company serving individuals in the Metro Indy and surrounding areas through the Medicaid waiver. Our mission is simple: support our therapists so they can focus on doing the work they love without burning out.

At HL Music Studios, we:

• Prioritize burnout prevention and self-care
• Offer flexible scheduling to fit your comfort zone
• Provide attentive support from a CEO who is also a practicing music therapist
• Share resources and create a collaborative, supportive culture
• Hold monthly team meetings that start with a meditation or other ways to unwind, and include song and resource sharing

Because we operate without the overhead of a building, we can pay our employees generously and invest in their wellbeing. We offer both part-time and full-time positions (20+ hours/week).

Compensation & Benefits

• Earn up to $70,000 annually after taxes (plus mileage reimbursement)
• $2,000 yearly stipend to use however you choose: instruments, conferences, insurance assistance, or paid vacation
• Flexible scheduling to support your work-life balance
• Paid for all direct service hours plus time spent calling referrals
• Strong emphasis on therapist support and professional growth

Duties

• Plan and provide music therapy services to individuals on the Medicaid waiver
• Complete session notes for each client session
• Travel to client homes or community locations for sessions
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Manage your schedule in a way that works best for you and your clients

Experience & Requirements

• Bachelor’s (or equivalency) degree in Music Therapy
• Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) credential
• Valid driver’s license and up-to-date car insurance
• Reliable transportation
• Personal instruments and instrument bag (support available if you don’t have one yet)
• Willingness to complete a background check
