Who are we and what do we do?

Harmony Behavioral Health specializes in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy, offering personalized 1:1 support for children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities. We provide flexible services in clinic, at home, and within the community, ensuring care is tailored to each family’s needs. Serving the Greater Phoenix area, our center is conveniently located in North Phoenix near the 51 and Bell Road.

• Lead with expertise – Conduct assessments and design individualized, evidence-based programs that empower clients to achieve their goals.

• Inspire and mentor – Guide and train RBTs through direct supervision, group sessions, and hands-on coaching.

• Partner with families – Provide ongoing support, consultation, and strategies that spark meaningful progress at home and beyond.

• Maintain the highest standards – Monitor progress, ensure program fidelity, and conduct direct clinical observations to keep our services exceptional.

BCBA/Clinician Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

• Complete 27 billable hours per week with bonuses for billable hours over minimum

• Gather background information by interviewing staff and/or family members familiar with the individual prior to plan development.

• Analyze existing data to identify patterns in where, when, and why behaviors targeted for reduction occur.

• Conduct direct observations across all relevant settings to assess behavior and determine its function.

• Define target behaviors using clear, objective, and measurable terms, and design effective data collection systems.

• Develop and integrate evidence-based strategies—including setting event, antecedent, teaching, and consequence interventions—to reduce problem behaviors and promote positive replacement skills.

• Ensure all behavior support plans address the underlying function of the problem behavior.

• Provide hands-on training to staff and/or family members, allowing for real-time guidance, questions, and discussion on plan implementation.

• Monitor progress through regular review of behavior data and prepare monthly descriptive progress notes.

• Conduct treatment fidelity assessments to ensure consistent and accurate implementation of the behavior support plan.

• Evaluate plan effectiveness and identify barriers to progress and revise the plan as needed.

• Review and audit behavior data for accuracy and compliance, addressing discrepancies such as missing documentation, inappropriate restrictions, or deviations from the approved plan.

• Maintain accurate reports with correct time, date, and signatures, ensuring availability to all assigned team members via CentralReach or Google Drive.

• Participate in collaborative meetings, including Human Rights Committee sessions, psychotropic medication reviews, and interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings.

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field and board certification

• Strong knowledge of developmental disabilities and evidence-based behavioral strategies

• Training and experience with Naturalistic Teaching Approaches and DTT

• Ability to create clear, measurable treatment plans and track progress effectively

• Skilled at interpreting procedures and teaching them to families, staff, and community providers

• Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and problem-solve creatively

• Experience assessing needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and adapting as goals evolve

• Strong report writing skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage a flexible schedule and adapt to changing client needs

• Proficiency in computer systems

• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and fostering a supportive, collaborative team culture

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
